SUMMARY: Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival–Production Crew & Head Chef for Rosanna Scimeca’s Narcissa, a featured art installation. Coachella reserves an area for artists and their teams to camp, eat and have as a base for installations.  Our core crew were a close group of friends and collaborators– among them was Flash who was working a VIP drinks station https://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/Flash-A-Burning-Man-legend-2571638.php)–that overlapped with many other circles who make the festival hum and shine with creativity and magic. Narcissa’s jeweled and mirrored presence attracted constant attention as, in it’s shards of mirrors, festival goers looked at their own image– this at the dawn of the social media smart phone age. Downtime, wandering stages, two highlights: Sonic Youth and a late, late night set by Plastikman that had us moving like desert snakes.
