SUMMARY: Double duty at the excellent Lightning in a Bottle (LiB) Festival 2012 at Oak Canyon Ranch in Silverado, California, an hour south of Los Angeles. First, transported and installed & de-installed the featured Gamelatron Orchestra in a structure designed by the artist Shine (see video below). Then, during the event, worked full-time offering bodywork sessions in the Healing Sanctuary. Immersive experience being hands-on in so many parts of the event with thousands of attendees and camping in the mix. Extraordinarily creative and capable crew drawing on the powerhouse of talent in LA and beyond.

It is presented by The Do LaB, which seeks to promote sustainability, social cohesion, and creative expression. Lightning in a Bottle is a mix of music, art, and culture. In addition to music performances, the festival also features guest speakers, visual and interactive art installations, yoga classes, group meditation, and other attractions. Many attendees camp on-site. There are many opportunities available for volunteering at the event such as participating as a performing artist in the DoArt Foundation’s Lightning in a Paintcan.
