The Miracle Bistro with Jeffrey Blumenthal aka Dr. J, Kevin Murano aka compadre and Lacy Story aka Yeshe. Initiated in Summit County, Colorado in 2001 and continuing for over 50 shared meals in a somewhat continuous fashion now on an opportunistic basis. This was (and is) an ongoing salon style dining series with culinary experimentation, constructive feedback and ritual poetic elements encouraged. Also known as the The Strange Mountain Dining Consortium with the Ingredient Hard to Find with it’s close cousin The Gourmet Chef in the Wilds. A revolving lead chef introduces dishes and full multi-course meals with guests and co-hosts invited to invite newcomers to each round. Each meal includes an “ingredient hard to find”– Black Ant Tea an outlier in that field of possibility.
